Why are you running this session?
We want to bring together young people from the Stroud area who are interested in Folk Music. We know a number of professional folk musicians who would be delighted to make music with you, and to pass on their skills, ideas and enjoyment.
This is a first event, which we would like to make into a regular event if there is sufficient interest. We would love to be coming together on a regular basis to play folk music in a joyful and supportive environment. Maybe we’ll play a gig or two – if we enjoy playing the music, then others will enjoy listening!
So even if you cannot be there on the 16th March – please do get in touch if you are interested in being a part of Stroud Youth Folk.
What does it cost?
There is a charge of £15 per participant.
There are limited places available, but if there is interest we will be running more, so do get in touch even if you cannot join us on 16th March.
